We spent two days at Terranea! Enjoyed a couples massage, golfed 9 holes and dined at two of the resort’s restaurants on the property. Here’s what happened while overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the Palos Verdes coastline, while enjoying The Spa at Terranea.

First of all, let me say that the staffers’ attitudes and hospitality were excellent which made the experience second to none. I enjoyed every bit of the experience and would recommend it to any loving couple.
The room was very romantic. The entire spa’s ambiance was romantic and brought an instant feeling of love. The one thing that I regret was not having enough time to enjoy the spa tub with my other half. I recommend couples set an early appointment to get the full experience.
We booked our spa treatments at 6:00 pm with an 8:30 pm dinner in mind. The spa closed at 8 pm, the end time for our massages cut it too close.
The benefits of couples getting a massage together are awesome. It brings you closer to one another and in my opinion strengthens the bond and spiritual connection. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
This was my first full body massage and it was wonderful. It was much needed and the spa most definitely knows how to make your experience comfortable, relaxing, and refreshing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I work out and weight train five to six times a week. If you work out as much and as hard as I do, I recommend a massage at least once a month. It helps with loosening muscle tightness and releases oxygen in my blood cells to help with healing and muscle growth from the repetitive weight lifting. I haven’t felt this rejuvenated in years.

Tailored to the needs of the athlete, this specific massage addresses problematic muscles and joints.
The combination of compression strokes and techniques to stretch the muscles improves flexibility and flushes metabolic waste from the tissues.
The couples lounge had a lovely view of the ocean which heightened the romantic experience. It’s well worth the spa experience alone.
