The Links At Terranea | Ocean View Golf

Life & Style After 40! is celebrating with the best of the West Coast edition!

The Links at Terranea has amazing views overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the Palos Verdes coastline. Golfing was on our day 2 itinerary at the resort. We spent our first day relaxing at The Spa at Terranea and dinner at Mar’sel. You can read the spa review here: https://lifeandstyleafter40.com/the-spa-at-terranea/

We’re both amateur golfers and decided to golf ⛳️ 9 holes 🕳 instead of 18. Mostly because it’s a walking course only. We decided to pace the day, sleep in and enjoy a sunset dinner.

“The Links at Terranea is an incomparable 9-hole, par 3 golf course just a few steps from the Pacific Ocean.”

“The golf course is beautiful, if you’re not a pro or find that you’re not the golfing type along the way the coastal setting is enough to bring you back. “

No experience, no problem

“With a variety of tee placements, the course provides a new golfer an inviting setup, and an experienced golfer the opportunity to play every type of short to long iron shot imaginable. “

Golf lessons are available at the resort if you’re interested in taking your game to the next level.

CATALINA KITCHEN

Terranea has an amazing selection of restaurants on the property. It was really difficult to decide where to dine after golf. We were dressed in sports attire and decided to try Catalina Kitchen as it’s more casual and located next to one of the pool areas. Nelson’s was also top of the list.

We started with Mexican Mules. Mules are a favorite, this was the first time we tried the Mexican version. Very refreshing and perfect for the summer.

Terranea’s Catalina Kitchen served up a delicious short-rib and jalapeño mash potato entrees.
