I recently asked our Facebook community “men, what are your top 5 fragrances?” However, I inserted that I would love to hear from women who wear men’s fragrances. Hand raised, I do! This left a few of my girlfriends speechless! I even received an offline text asking if I really wear men’s fragrances. Yes, I do!
In fact, our body chemistry has a lot to do with how fragrances smell, regardless of gender.
Rule of thumb, test first before purchasing. I can’t have a community of women chasing me this summer over a strong scent.
I’ve worn men’s fragrances since the late ‘90s. One summer I mistakenly purchased a bottle of Dolce & Gabbana, Light Blue cologne and Issy Miyaki cologne. I absolutely loved the fragrances. I had no idea they were men’s cologne until a friend brought it to my attention. He knew they were men’s cologne based on the design of the bottles. Both Issy Miyaki and Dolce & Gabbana have the same fragrances for women.

My absolute favorite men’s cologne to wear is Cartier. I wear this fragrance year round. It’s perfect for the summer. It’s light and airy with a hypnotic scent. My boyfriend absolutely loves Cartier on my body.
