It’s about to be hot in hurrrrr girls, but we don’t need to take off ALL our clothes; we just need to plan for cute summer shorts and skirts paired with an easy peasy hair updo or style that keeps those sweaty strands out of your face, helping to ease acne and keep you from blowing it out of your eyes or trying to paste it to your head with sweat.

DIY Hair tricks!
We promise these styles are so easy you’ll want to try a new one every day and we’ve found all the quickest YouTube videos for your tutorials, nothing more needed for these styles other than a brush/comb, your styling product of choice, and bobby pins. Some can also be done with an optional addition of a headscarf.
1. Effortless low bun for natural hair
Try a new look with parting your hair to the side and securing at the nape of your neck instead of higher up like a ponytail.
2. Stuck with Short Hair? Cinnamon Buns are the answer!
These little twin twists solve the problem of what to do to make short hair look “different” or “special.” We recommend two to four tiny cinnamon twists or buns at the nape of your neck for a cool and messy look that screams cute! The best part about this is that it looks great on any texture hair, curly or straight, and any length or layers. Just work with what you have!
3. Classic French Twist
This one works best with medium to long hair and a bit of teasing and hairspray so it sticks. You can’t tease or spray too much for this one, it needs it to hold it’s shaped so get after it girl!
4. Rolled Updo With Elastic or Headband
This simple updo involved tucking sections of your hair around a stretchy scarf style elastic headband. So easy even your kid can do it. No pins needed unless your hair is short or super thin, in which case a few pins can go a long way.
5. Easy Roll Updo with Bandanna
This is easily one of my most favorite looks, as it means that I don’t need bobby pins and I really don’t have to use any product at all. All you need is a bandanna and a ponytail elastic.
6. Ribboned Pony
You’d be surprised how easy it can be to add a ribbon to an otherwise basic pony and get WOWs. This also works great if you have to do your kids hair for cheerleading or band camp, or have a wedding with an already super elaborate dress that you need a simple polished look for.
